Is the class free?

No. ENROLLMENT is free. Once we have enough students to fill a class you will be invoiced monthly on the first of every month for the upcoming month.

How much does it cost?

$130 per month. Classes meet once per week for 45 minutes.

Do you offer refunds?

You can enroll for free with no obligation for your child to join the class, but once an invoice is paid there is no refund. This is because we must maintain at least 3 students per class.

How many students per class?

There will be 3 to 5 students per class.

Do the kids do concerts?

YES! Every 8 to 10 weeks we will host a concert with all our bands (or possibly other musicians) and since we have our own theater the Kidzrock kids will have a real rock experience on stage with lights and other special effects!

Instruments required?

No! All instruments and materials are included in monthly fee!

Rock Band Class for 4 to 7 Year Olds

Kidzrock is a licensed program exclusive to Meridian Music School and Ji-Eun Lee Music Academy (in Fishers). This program teaches children between the ages of 4 to 7 to play real instruments in a real rock band! Each band has three to five band members who learn to play guitar, piano, and drums. The young rockers will have a great time making friends while learning musicality, basics of music instruments, rhythm, and other musical skills all while learning to play in harmony with the bandmates!

Your child will learn how to play drums, guitar, and keyboards as they prepare to play and sing in a real rock concert! The fun rock band format helps kids fall in love with music and feel good about their abilities. If children perceive playing an instrument as fun and easy they are so much more likely to want to continue on into private lessons.

No instruments or practice required! Kidzrock class meets once per week for 45 minutes. Every 10 to 12 weeks a concert will be held in our theater featuring all our Kidzrock bands!

Class Info

Band practice is every week for 45 minutes. Original members of each band will get to choose their own band name. Individual players can stop the class (leave the band) any time or possibly join existing band with an opening.

Practice Times

Currently the only practices are offered in Fishers at Ji-Eun Lee Music Academy, but Kidzrock band practices will be coming to Meridian Music in the near future!
